I finally made it to the East Coast of the USA! After 6 months of living an a ski town, it was really good to get back out into the big city life. In my 2 week trip, I visited Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC. Also met up with some pretty cool Americans that I met in Australia!

Some highlights of my trip..

  • Harvard University - Boston. It had the beautiful red brick buildings that we all imagine and see in movies, great landscapes and the students actually were a lot of Harvard clothes..

  • Fenway Park - Boston, the home of the Boston Red Sox!
  • Visiting a Church in Boston........ ended up being a homeless shelter!
  • Street dumpling Van in Boston
  • James Hook and Co Seafood - Boston. Amazing!
  • Times Square - New York. Just WOW. It is really the city that never sleeps, there are people and cars everywhere.

  • Central Park - New York. Beautiful park in Manhattan, it amazes me how they just have such a massive park in the middle of the city. I decided it would be a good idea to do a walk around and it TOOK ME 8 HOURS!

  • World Trade Centre Memorial - New York.
  • Madison Square garden - Home of the New York Rangers and the Knicks!
  • Watching the Philadelphia Phoenix game with my buddy that I met in Australia.

  • Sightseeing in Philly and then watching National Treasure :)
  • Lincoln Memorial - DC
  • DC has a lot of free museums, the Holocaust museum was definitely a highlight.
